Compassion is a Christian child sponsorship organisation. We work to bring hope and a future to children in some of the poorest communities across the world. Through the support of individual sponsors we are transforming lives in Jesus’ name.

Sponsorship is a practical, personal and thoroughly Christian way to reach out with the love of Christ, and show a child how precious they are. Compassion sponsors not only provide financially for their child they also provide support through prayers and letters.

At present over 670,000 children in 23 countries are receiving the opportunity to develop physically, economically, socially and spiritually in Compassion projects. Through our partnership with local churches all projects are tailored to the needs of the children in their community
